Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Personmade ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information through our applications and website. Our product is a custom 3D-printed facial interface, modeled from a scan of the user's face, printed, and shipped to them as a physical product.
What we collect
- Face geometry. To design your interface, the app uses your device's TrueDepth camera to capture a 3D face mesh. This is a biometric measurement used solely to model the product.
- On-device artifacts. A local model render and debug logs are written to your device's Documents/application-support folders.
- Optional diagnostics. If you explicitly opt in (with your own server address and token), the app may send operational log events and a model render to that server to help diagnose problems.
- Purchase details. When you buy an interface (a physical good), your payment and shipping details are processed by the payment provider; we keep minimal order records needed for fulfillment.
How we use it
Face geometry is used to generate the 3D-printed interface and is processed on your device. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose, and is never sold.
What we do not do
- We do not transmit your face scan or model automatically.
- We do not share your data with advertisers or third parties.
- We do not use your data to train external systems without notice.
Opt-in diagnostics
Off-device transmission is opt-in only. Until you enable it, everything stays on your device. When enabled, only approved operational events and a model render are sent over HTTPS to the server and token you provide.
Retention & deletion
You can clear the locally stored face scan, model render, and logs from the app at any time (long-press Reset → Clear scan data). Contact us to request deletion of any order or account records we hold.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Secrets are stored in the device's secure keychain. We apply access controls to any server that receives opt-in diagnostics or order records.
Children
This service is not directed at children. Do not provide a child's scan without a parent or guardian's consent.
